App Login Error

We have identified the root cause of the login errors affecting some users on the Arbor App. The issue occurs when a guardian’s email address is duplicated across multiple user accounts in the system, creating a data conflict that triggers an error message.

What we are doing:
Our development team is currently refining the in-app error message so that if a guardian encounters this conflict in the future, the app will clearly explain the exact reason. This updated version of the app will be released shortly.

How to help your users log in right now:
To resolve this immediately for your guardians, school administrators can clear the data conflict by following these steps:

1. Navigate to School > Data > Data Quality > Suspected Duplicates > Email Addresses.
2. Locate the guardian’s email address to see where the duplicates exist.
3. Resolve the duplicate records directly from this page so the email is only tied to one active user.

Once the duplicate is resolved, the guardian will be able to log in normally.
